Theological Underpinning of our Vision
Rooted in the teachings of the Book of Jeremiah, our school reflects the joyful promise of hope and a future filled with God's love, as Jeremiah proclaimed: “I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future.” At Pinvin C of E Academy School, our vision is supported by our Christian Values, recognising each person as a precious and unique child of God, "fearfully and wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14).
Central to our faith is the profound love expressed in John 3:16: "God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." This love empowers us to embrace each new day as an opportunity for renewal, guided by our Behaviour and Relationships Policy which seeks resolution and peace through acts of forgiveness.
Our Christian vision celebrates the gospel of forgiveness, as illustrated by the Bible story of Joseph, reminding us that no matter how far we stray, we are always welcomed back with warmth and love. This reflects our commitment to creating a nurturing environment where everyone can be happy, grow, and flourish.
Our school community thrives on its values of Love, Joy, Forgiveness, Wisdom, Hope, and Peace. By focusing on these values, we aim to embody the nature of God and His Son, fostering an environment where both individuals and the community can flourish and bear fruit.
Together, as children of God, we work with warmth and belief, ensuring that each member of our school community can experience happiness, growth, and flourishing so that all can prosper as God intends.
